Hatchfield is a small non commercial kennel. I bought the Hatchfield Affix in 1972 and bred my first litter in 1974, winning a trial in 1976 with Hatchfield Mattblack. I began trialling more seriously in the early 90’s making up my first FT Ch, Lettermore Tide of Hatchfield , she was 4th in the IGL Championships at Holkham. Tide produced three FT Ch’s. FT Ch Hatchfield Tarka, FT Ch Hatchfield Fern and FT Ch Hatchfield Feargal.

Feargal gained a Diploma of Merit at the IGL Championships at Blankney. Tide produced many other field trial winners and was a very special bitch. One of her progeny FTW Hatchfield Minnow produced my FT Ch Hatchfield Ash who gained a Diploma of Merit at Sandringham in the Championships.

Feargal has sired several FT Ch’s and I am currently running Yettolley Inca of Hatchfield (winner two day open stake) and Fernflight Lotus of Hatchfield (Swift). Swift gained an award in his first trial in January so I am really looking forward to running him this season.

Inca had a lovely litter of pups last Spring by FT CH Blackfoot Scout of Minstead and their training is progressing well.
